A new art movement
Trumpicism is a new art movement. Its founding rule is simple and unrelenting: you take a thing, and you name it as its opposite.
The image is honest. The caption lies. And the space between them — visible, undeniable, impossible to look away from — is where the work lives.
This is not deception. It is deception made visible. Where the lie usually hides, Trumpicism frames it, centres it, and puts it on display. It takes the defining gesture of this era — the confident naming of a thing as its opposite — and reduces it to its purest form, until the mechanism lies fully exposed.
The rule
Three conditions govern every Trumpicist work:
- the image must be plainly recognisable.
- the caption must plainly contradict it.
- the contradiction must be obvious to anyone.
The lie is not concealed. It is signed, framed, and displayed. What you see is true. What it is called is not.
A witness to its time
Art has always given history back to us — to understand, to warn, to hold fast what was.
Trumpicism is the witness to a world that appears to be loosening itself from reason and good conscience. It does not shout, and it does not explain. It simply shows you the gap between what is and what it is called, and leaves you with the one task this age sets before everyone: to trust your own eyes, or to believe the caption.
An open movement
Trumpicism is not a closed work, nor anyone's possession. It is a direction, and it stands open.
All artists are warmly invited to take part — to extend it, to question it, to drive it further.
A witness to its time never speaks with a single voice.
Every artist accepted into the movement receives their own curated page here, presenting their work and their words. There are no automated listings and no self-service galleries.
Each contribution is reviewed and placed by hand, so that the movement stays as clear and uncompromising as its rule.

The process is simple:
Register your name using the form below. Send a short text about yourself and your relationship to the movement. Email a selection of images of your work. If your work is accepted, it will be presented on your own curated page at trumpicism.com, under your name.
After you register, you will receive an email address to which you can send your text and images. All work is curated before publication.
